Waiver Wire Gameweek 27
Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Gameweek 27 targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!
Tosin Adarbioyo (Ros 12%)
Prospects: Yoyo, as he is often referred to has been second choice at Chelsea since his switch from Fulham in the summer, with a few decent performances here and there, ut nothing to write home about. He came on for the injured Chalobah in the loss to Villa last weekend and is likely continuing to sub in for the loan returnee in the centre of the defense. He has lost his ghosting ability, mainly due to not getting as many aerials as he used to at Fulham, but Southampton, their next opponents look absolutely dreadful, so a clean sheet is highly likely, which will only likely get Tosin barely to double digits, but if you like solidity and not much risk from your streamers, get him in.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 2-3 FAB to get him.
David Brooks (Ros 19%)
Prospects: Tavernier finally started ahead of Brooks and the Cherries promotly got done by Wolves. The 2 might not have a cause-effect relationship, but surely makes you think. While I dont believe Tavernier's start was the main cause of the defeat (more to do with Zabarnyi's red card) I do think Tavernier's fitness won't be risked for 2 games in 3 days, hence the re-introduction of Brooks. The Welshman has been great in his run in the first team and he will do everything in the south coast derby to make a case for his long term future in the Bournemouth XI.
Verdict:Â I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.
Keane Lewis-Potter (Ros 38%)
Prospects: The Out-of-possession player of the season. And not the classically good kind. KLP has been consistently starting at wing-back for Brentford all season and has quietly gone about his business getting decent ghosts in most of his games. Due to his OOP position, his ceiling is capped as he is usually pretty far from goal and therefore he isn't expected to get you 20+, but he has been consistently able to get close to or around 10 ghosts, so if mid-week rotation has you looking for out of the box forwards, check out KLP.
Verdict: Â I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 2-3 FAB to get him.
