Waiver Wire Gameweek 20

Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Gameweek 20 targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Jarell Quansah (Ros 11%)

Prospects: Joe Gomez was the definite choice to take over from Konaté when the Frenchman got injured a few weeks ago, but the Englishman got injured last gameweek against West Ham and looks to be out for a while, so up steps Jarell Quansah. The lanky youngster was supposed to kick on after a stellar campaign last season, but a difficult first half in GW1 seemed to have quickly relegated him to 3rd choice CB and he has not seen much action ever since. With the injuries mounting, it looks like he will have a chance to prove himself once more. Liverpool have struggled historically in January and will be hoping to forget the past and make the most of the upcoming fixtures: MUN, @NOT, @BRF, IPS. This is a short-term pick-up and with limited upside. Liverpool have struggled to keep a clean sheet lately and Konaté was supposed to return sometime in mid-January, but the aerial ability of Quansah and Liverpool's form still make me hopeful for some good scores.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 1-2 FAB to get him.

Harry Wilson (Ros 35%)

Prospects: Wilson has featured several times on these pages and in our Sleepers XI as he has been killing it off the bench while we have been waiting for his emergence in the first team. He quickly leapfrogged fan favourite Adama (as soon as Reiss Nelson got injured) and has been doing great lately, scoring in his last 2 games. Ipswich, Leicester and West Ham in the next 3 look very tasty for all Fulham attackers.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 3-5 FAB to get him.

Paul Onuachu (Ros 7%)

Prospects: The big man continues to rack up ghost points like a classic power forward as Juric implements a more "cross-focused" attack which bodes well a player like Tall-Paul. In the long run, he will need to add attacking returns to avoid question marks around his selection. Short term, he feels like McBurnie reborn!

Verdict:  I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 2-3 FAB to get him.
