Premier League Predicted Starting XI: Fulham
Find below all the details on how we think Fulham will lineup this season. This is subject to change based on new signings and pre-season friendly data, of course.
Fulham Predicted Starting Lineup: Graphical View
Fulham have a pretty thin squad at the moment and manager Marco Silva was said to be disappointed with the number of incomings just a couple of weeks ago. However, there are a few things for certain. Mitrovic will lead the line after scoring 43 goals last season. Harry Wilson will start, very likely as a RW, after also dominating last year. Silva will play 4 in the back, especially considering the current lack of senior CBs in the squad. It will either be a 4-2-3-1 like last year, or a more conservative 4-3-3. At the moment new signing Andres Pereira and Harrison Reed look likely to be the 8s with Palhinha (also newly signed) as the deepest lying midfielder. Pereira will either be the furthest forward 8 or a 10 if a 4-2-3-1 is preferred (possibly in easier matchups). At left wing, it'll be a battle between new signing Manor Solomon, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, or Neeskens Kebano. In defence, LB Antonee Robinson likely has the starting job, with Joe Bryan consistently pushing him for starts. Fulham only have 2 senior CBs in Ream and Tosin, but they are looking to sign more (Diop from West Ham was/still might be top of their list). At right back, Kenny Tete is the current preferred option, but that might change quickly with Kevin Mbabu likely in the door any day now. I imagine right back will likely be the biggest timeshare of any position. As for other senior players, De Cordova-Reid will provide depth in the attacking positions, as will Cairney and Chalobah in the mid. Cavaleiro, Knockaert, Kongolo, and Onomah have all been told they can find new clubs, so they likely won't feature this season (unless Fulham fail to sign anyone else). As for further signings, Fulham are still looking to add a backup striker, allowing Muniz to go out on loan, as well as a starting goalkeeper, likely Bernd Leno from Arsenal. Centre-back is arguably their biggest need at the moment though. This squad may change quite a bit in the coming weeks, so come back for updates.
