Just like football itself, the Fantrax Default Scoring system is constantly evolving too. As players and tactics changes, trends emerge, what was once a perfect system starts to deteriorate and not only are player values moving away from real life player valuations, certain positions, due to the tactical shifts in the game get showed less love than others. Therefore, after consulting with the Draft PL community, we have suggest some changes to the default scoring system, that Fantrax have adopted. If you would like the changes to be automatically applied to your league, instead of renewing, start a new league from scratch and the changes will be there. You can also add the changes manually to your existing league.

Scoring Changes
No -2 for First Goal Against
The Community agreed that DEFs and GKs were being double punished for the first goal against by losing their clean sheet bonus and losing 2 points. This has been amended so that the -2 penalty per goal only applies to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. goals against.
GK Clean Sheet Reduced to 6 Points
This change simply reflects a desire to align CS points between DEFs and GKs.
Clearances Added for MIDs and FWDs
There's no reason why this stat shouldn't be awarded to everyone on the pitch! The Community felt quite strongly about this one and Fantrax have made the change.
Sub On/Off Added as a Stat Category
These stat categories (like total minutes and games started) have been added as unscored categories to allow for quicker reference during live scoring and while researching players.

Positional Changes
Due to a number of factors, a handful of players saw their positions changed in Fantrax default leagues this season. Mostly, you'll notice a move from FWD to MID for a few wingers. This creates a bit more simplicity and uniformity across the fantasy game at that position. Plus, it addresses a lack of depth in the midfield pool felt by most fantasy managers last season.
