Fantrax EPL: Gameweek 32 Hot or Cold

Updated: May 13, 2021

Our Gameweek 32 Hot or Cold article is here to outline the current prospects of key Fantasy EPL players.  The 'Hot' or 'Cold' status will help take away your emotional attachment to certain Draft Premier League players and help you bring in the players that you need to help you dominate your Fantrax Draft League!

These Hot or Cold ratings are based on the data contained within the Weekly Rest-of-Season Rankings produced by The FF Chaps. The Draft Society's exclusive weekly refresh of Fantasy EPL prospect rankings!

🔥🔥🔥 Gameweek 32 Hot List 🔥🔥🔥

These are Fantasy EPL players that have risen in our Weekly ROS Rankings! Keep an eye on these Draft Premier League players, and bring them into your Fantrax squad if you can.

Alexandre Lacazette

Position: Forward

Team: Arsenal

GW31 Rank: 46

GW32 Rank: 21

What's Changed?: I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of Alexandre Lacazette as a Fantrax asset. He just doesn't start enough for me to warrant a high ranking. But in recent weeks and months things have changed. Since the start of the year the Frenchman has been starting more often than not, and he's bagged 5 goals in his last 5 starts. Lacazette has risen above the likes of Richarlison, Watkins, and Mahrez in my Weekly ROS Rankings as he's on form and a player on the up.

Kai Havertz

Position: Midfielder

Team: Chelsea

GW31 Rank: 82

GW32 Rank: 41

What's Changed?: Another player that I've not been a fan of this season, but at this stage, you just have to follow the form. Kai Havertz has points scores of 16, 12, and 27 during his last three starts for Chelsea. The young German may finally be finding his feet after a difficult first season. Havertz is playing in an advanced role at the moment, often finding himself as the central striker in a fluid lineup without a recognized striker. With Werner's form continuing to be poor (he's dropped to 73rd overall by the way), the likes of Havertz, Ziyech and Pulisic are must-have players for me. They won't start every game, but if you play with Live Lineup Changes on Fantrax, try and trade them in!

Joao Moutinho

Position: Midfielder

Team: Wolves

GW31 Rank: N/A

GW32 Rank: 57

What's Changed?: The final hot player I'm going to analyse is Joao Moutinho. The veteran Wolves midfielder came on for the injured Neto in GW31 and gained 11.5 points in 57 minutes of play. Moutinho will take charge of set pieces, and I like him for a more influential end to the season. The Portuguese maestro has entered my Weekly ROS Rankings at 57. Pick him up from waivers, or try and trade him into your team. I fancy Moutinho to roll back the years for the final few games this season. He had already gained double figure hauls in each of his previous three starts!

❄️❄️❄️ Gameweek 32 Cold List ❄️❄️❄️

These are Fantasy EPL players that have fallen in our Weekly ROS Rankings. This may be due to poor form, they have been dropped from the best 11, they have suffered an injury, or received a suspension. It's time to consider trading out these Draft Premier League players from your rosters!

James Ward-Prowse

Position: Midfielder

Team: Southampton

GW31 Rank: 18

GW32 Rank: 39

What's Changed?: This one is hard to come to terms with. Totti advised us to trade out James Ward-Prowse last week, and I didn't want to believe it. But the 3-0 defeat to West Brom and 3.5 points from Ward-Prowse has made me see the light. The Englishman has dropped 21 places in my ROS Rankings, now finding himself in a lowly 39th overall. I'm not sure why Ward-Prowse's scores have dropped off so much. Maybe he's defending more with Romeu out injured. Maybe he's run-down after playing so much football in recent months. Maybe Southampton are on the beach already. The GW31 penalty miss summed it up.

Recommendation: Attempt to trade Ward-Prowse out for a resurgent player such as Saint-Maximin, Pereira (WBA), or Podence. Or try and get an explosive Chelsea asset such as Pulisic, Havertz or Ziyech.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Position: Forward

Team: Arsenal

GW31 Rank: 47

GW32 Rank: 61

What's Changed?: As Lacazette rises, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang falls. The Gabon forward has had a shocking season by his standards, as well as by Fantrax standards. In games that Auba has failed to score in, he's gained horrible points scores. HORRIBLE. With Lacazette on form as the central striker, and players such as Pepe, Odegaard and Martinelli performing well in the supporting attacking roles, I think Auba will have little impact between now and the end of the season.

Recommendation: Attempt to trade Auba out for someone like Jesus, Bamford or Foden. But settling for someone like Traore (AVL) or Coufal will probably work in your favour too.

Jack Grealish

Position: Midfielder

Team: Aston Villa

GW31 Rank: 12

GW32 Rank: 52

What's Changed?Jack Grealish was the biggest faller in my refreshed rest-of-season rankings. An obvious call considering he's been ruled out for another few weeks. So why am I writing about Grealish? The main point here is that if you're in a league with playoffs and you've already pretty much qualified, now is the time to trade him in. If you don't use the playoff format to decide your eventual league winner, or if you're scrapping to qualify for the playoffs, then Grealish is not a player you want to own right now.

Recommendation: If you need to trade Grealish out, aim for players such as Pulisic, Havertz, Pogba or maybe even Moutinho. I would also like to note that El Ghazi (ranked 71st overall) may be a player to target in a separate trade now that Trezeguet, as well as Grealish, is out injured.
