Gameweek 3 Waiver Wire

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Joel Veltman

Position: Defender

Team: Brighton

Rostered: 26%

Next 3 Fixtures: WHU (A), LEE (H), FUL (A)

Prospects: Veltman was an ever-present in the BHA lineup last season, as well as GW1 and 2, and brings limited ghost point ability and a good chance of a CS in the next few gameweeks. Brighton look like they have finally taken the next step this season and amazing coaching and scouting are finally being rewarded by results. Long may it continue.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Ben Mee

Position: Defender

Team: Brentford

Rostered: 23%

Next 3 Fixtures: FUL (A), EVE (H), CRY (A)

Prospects: The CB problems at Brentford are well documented, and Ben Mee has been an able deputy for Pinnock since his move from relegated Burnley. The next 3 fixtures are looking decent for the Bees and Mee has been targeted several times by the famously well-drilled Brentford set pieces. I expect a good chance of a few clean sheets plus the odd attacking return in the coming weeks for the former Burnley captain.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Antonee Robinson

Position: Defender

Team: Fulham

Rostered: 25%

Next 3 Fixtures: BRF (H), ARS (A), BHA (H)

Prospects: Long-time draft managers still remember the excitement surrounding the American full back the last time Fulham graced the top division. He has gone more under the radar this time around but has performed admirably for a surprisingly solid Silva-led Fulham side. Just like the 2 players before him, the fixtures fall very kindly for Fulham (with the exception of Arsenal away), so Robinson could prove to be a good mid-term hold.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Mathias Jensen

Position: Midfielder

Team: Brentford

Rostered: 3%

Next 3 Fixtures: FUL (A), EVE (H), CRY (A)

Prospects: Good things come in waves when it comes to Jensen, as he bullied a lackluster United side last weekend to record an astonishing 23-point score. The set piece picture is still unclear when it comes to Eriksen-less Brentford, but Jensen could provide good MID4-5 value in the next couple of weeks or until Damsgaard dethrones him.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
