Gameweek 25 Waiver Wire

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Gianluca Scamacca

Position: Forward

Team: West Ham United

Rostered: 38%

Next 3 Fixtures: NOT (H), bha (A), AVL (H)

Prospects: Back fit & West Ham desperately need goals. He could come straight back into the team, and if he does, Forest at home should provide a good chance to regain some form. Scamacca has proven to be very streaky & he could crack on after one decent performance. A possible FWD3 ROS if he hits a purple patch and sticks in the XI.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Idrissa Gueye

Position: Midfielder

Team: Everton

Rostered: 9%

Next 3 Fixtures: AVL (H), ars (A), not (A)

Prospects: Nailed on in a midfield 3, Gueye plays more of the CDM/enforcer role for the Toffees. Normally, his 5-7 point floor doesn't warrant a start or waiver wire pick up. However, the upcoming DGW makes him an attractive option, especially as he is coming off a 9.5 point display over the weekend v Leeds.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Nelson Semedo

Position: Defender

Team: Wolves

Rostered: 21%

Next 3 Fixtures: ful (A), liv (A), TOT (H)

Prospects: While the left fullback role is constantly rotating between Bueno & Ait-Nouri, Semedo has monopolized the other side under Lopetegui. His fantasy points haven't been too spectacular but like Gueye above, a DGW pushes him up to the top of this week's waiver targets. He looked dangerous for long spells against Bournemouth and he should give you 6-7 ghost points per start. Two bites of the apple appeals.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Paul Onuachu

Position: Forward

Team: Southampton

Rostered: 19%

Next 3 Fixtures: lee (A), LEI (H), mun (A)

Prospects: The 6'7/ 2 meter behemoth certainly looks the part of a proper number 9. While he hasn't found the back of the net just yet, he looks on the verge of doing so. And his profile entails a decent ghost point floor, largely consisting of aerials. Last time out against Chelsea, he dropped a respectable 7 ghost points. A date against the leaky Leeds defense awaits, making him a nice streamer this GW and potentially a good hold ROS. A potential Che Adams injury increases his minutes per game too.

Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver pick or 3-5 FAB to get him.
