Updated: Feb 8, 2022

DPLCommLeague have brought the concept over to Fantrax, and it is sensational. We're here to provide Draft Premier League managers with our very own Perfect XI tips for each gameweek. Details of the concept and rules can be found here!

Check out DPLCommLeague for further information on the format, regular updates on the latest standings, as well as information on how you can enter.

Fantasy EPL Gameweek 24 Perfect XI

So, what is Perfect XI? Similar to Official Fantasy Premier League game, all managers have full access to the entire player pool each week, meaning multiple teams within the league could be completely identical. The main departures from OFPL are the Fantrax Default Scoring, unlimited transfers each week, no budget/salary cap, and live lineup changes available. This means that each week you can select a dream team of Fantrax assets who you think will score the most points on a given gameweek, and have the added bonus of being able to see the real life lineups before your players lock in. Magic.

Check out our Perfect XI tips below. These are our recommendations for the best eleven players this weekend! Picks are now accompanied by our weekly projections, which our Inner Circle members can exclusively access. Due to the tight scheduling, these will be a bit abridged for a couple weeks.

GK: Ederson

Man City have a whopping 64% chance of a clean sheet at home to Brentford. If you don't want to chase a clean sheet as much, David De Gea has been on fire and has a favourable matchup away to Burnley.

Pivot: David De Gea

DEF: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joao Cancelo, & Andrew Robertson

We're back to a single gameweek, and potentially our last one until GW38! What that means is we're going back to the basics. Trent, Cancelo, and 1 more high upside wing back. This time we're opting to take Robertson for the mini Liverpool stack. Liverpool have a 44% chance at a clean sheet vs Leicester City at home, and should do well offensively on top of that vs the shaky Foxes defense. Robertson has a 29% chance at an assist, and 11% at a goal. Just like the aforementioned Liverpool wide backs, Cancelo is another lock for the lineup particularly with a fantastic matchup vs Brentford. He has a 16% chance at a goal and 25% chance at an assist, on top of 64% clean sheet odds.

Pivot: Sergio Reguilon, Alex Telles/Luke Shaw

MID: Kevin De Bruyne, Conor Gallagher, Bruno Fernandes, Jarrod Bowen, & Michael Olise

The usual studs KDB and Bruno have good matchups and will be highly rostered this week. Their upside is undeniable with high goal (42% and 24% respectively) and assist (44% and 25%) odds, so I wouldn't suggest fading them. However the next 3 get a bit more interesting. Bowen is the highest scoring midfielder this season, and has Watford this week. He's got 36% goal odds and 29% assist odds, but he does run the risk of an early sub or benching after 120' at the weekend. The other West Ham mids could all be good pivots as well as the returned Paul Pogba. To round out the crew, we're taking 2 set piece-taking players vs likely relegation-bound Norwich. Gallagher and the in-form Olise have around 25% and 20% goal and assist odds and should generate plenty of offense regardless. Pivot: Ilkay Gundogan, Paul Pogba, Raphinha, Phil Foden

FWD: Michail Antonio, Riyad Mahrez/Gabriel Jesus

Salah would be our normal pick here, but coming back from the AFCON finale only a couple days before, we're not going to risk him starting the last game of the gameweek. You could certainly do so, and then pivot to Dioga Jota, but we'd prefer to play Mahrez and Antonio over Jota and they play earlier so we're gonna opt for that strategy instead. Like Bowen, Antonio should be a nice upside option vs Watford and has 47% goal odds and 27% assist odds. Mahrez is always one of the best floor options and at home vs Brentford also has one of the highest ceilings (46% goal, 37% assist). He had 2 goals, 1 assist, and was praised plenty by Pep post-match (say that 3 times fast).

Pivot: Mohamed Salah/Dioga Jota
