Every Fantrax manager knows that Waiver Wire acquisitions can make or break your Fantasy EPL season. Our Gameweek 23 Waiver Wire article is here to help you pick up the best Draft Premier League players possible ahead of the next Fantrax waiver processing!

Essential reading before the Tuesday waiver requests process!

Gameweek 23 Waiver Wire

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Nat Phillips

Position: Defender

Team: Liverpool

Rostered: 4%

Next Fixture: EVE (H)

Prospects: It is finally time, surely. No amount of progressive dribbling can save Matip. No amount of being part of a title-winning CB partnership can save Gomez. Big Nat has to come in vs Everton. The defence has been an absolute shambles and we are at a point when managers are dreading starting former greats TAA and Robbo, let alone the CBs... Cometh the hour, cometh the man! Phillips is an absolute unit, an aerial beast to match the Burnley-esque Everton led by DCL. Pick and hope!

Verdict: I would use a late waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.

Pablo Sarabia

Position: Midfielder

Team: Wolves

Rostered: 31%

Next Fixture: SOU (A)

Prospects: One of the rare cases where scoring did not match IRL performance. The new signing played very well against Liverpool and was unfortunate to have nothing to show for it in fantasy. With Julen steadying the ship and a tasty schedule coming up, pounce if someone dropped Sarabia. He also is still on atleast some, if not all set pieces.

Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver pick or 5-7 FAB to get him.

Kelechi Iheanacho

Position: Forward

Team: Leicester

Rostered: 10%

Next Fixture: TOT (H)

Prospects: Last week I wrote that Daka was the no-brainer pick to get a good run in the newly Maddison and Teté-induced Leicester side because frankly, years of hate from Brodge towards Kelechi have made me forget he even existed. Well ha, he showed me!!! I would still not trust Rodgers to keep the faith long-term, but if he does for a little, Iheanacho is in worth rostering.

Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver pick or 5-7 FAB to get him.

Paul Onuachu

Position: Forward

Team: Southampton

Rostered: 11%

Next Fixture: WOL (H)

Prospects: Today is the day of big men, of which Paul is the biggest. 10 ghosts in 45 brings back memories of OOP Callum Patterson, peak Ollie McBurnie and all the aerial beasts of yesteryear. Whether Onuachu can do enough on the actual football pitch to warrant him playing week-in week-out and whether Southampton's playing style (of which they have plenty) will be enough to get the best out of him remains to be seen, but the potential for an aerial GOD is there. Pick him up and pray.

Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver pick or 8-10 FAB to get him.
