Gameweek 14 Waiver Wire
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% ownership or below on Fantrax. These are the low ownership players who could perform very well over the upcoming period!
Joel Veltman
Position: Defender
Team: Brighton
Rostered: 29%
Next 3 Fixtures: whu (A), sou (A), TOT (H)
Prospects: No Brighton player not named Trossard is safe from rotation. This is the case for Veltman as well. The Dutchman is in a good positon though as he can play in multiple different spots across the back line. He has been a reliable performer in real life and in Fantrax as well, and with easier fixtures ahead, I would not hesitate to start him in any of the next 3.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver claim or about 0-3% of my FAB on Veltman.
Max Kilman
Position: Defender
Team: Wolves
Rostered: 37%
Next 3 Fixtures: BUR (H), LIV (H), mci (A)
Prospects: This is a one week punt, nothing more. Kilman collects his points from 2 primary stat categories: Aerials Won and Clean Sheets, both of which are a real possibility against Burnley during the midweek fixture. Do not overspend, because 1. Burnley have been picking up goals lately and 2. the introduction of Cornet has made them less one dimensional. That said, Kilman will definitely have a double digit score if he manages a clean sheet.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 0-3% of my FAB on Kilman.
Milot Rashica
Position: Midfielder
Team: Norwich
Rostered: 37%
Next 3 Fixtures: new (A), tot (A), MUN (H)
Prospects: Rashica has enjoyed somewhat of a revival lately and his performance against Wolves was very impressive, managing 12 ghost points plus a clean sheet and being a decent attacking threat. Smith has Norwich fighting for survival with a newfound belief so they should be well up for the relegation 6 pointer against Newcastle, who have conceded 5 goals in their last 2 matches.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver claim or about 2-5% of my FAB on Rashica
Patson Daka
Position: Forward
Team: Leicester
Rostered: 40%
Next 3 Fixtures: sou (A), avl (A), NEW (H)
Prospects: This is a very left field punt, but I wanted to include a forward in my recommendations and the two other 40% and under rostered players we mentioned last week (Joelinton) and this week in the Fantrax HQ article (Broja), so I am going with Daka who I think will get his chance very soon as a starter in an EPL game. 2-a-weeks are coming which will inevitably result in rotation, so try to stash him on your last bench spot and reap the rewards if he plays.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 0-2% of my FAB on Daka.
