Gameweek 13 Waiver Wire
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!
Liam Cooper
Position: Defender
Team: Leeds
Rostered: 24%
Next Fixture: FUL (H)
Prospects: Rested for the mid-week defeat against Leicester, Marsch quickly corrected his mistake by bringing on the towering CB at halftime. He then proceeded to collect 13.5 ghosts in 45 minutes. He is a surefire starter and, although Fulham look on it right now, Cooper's battles with Mitrovic will likely yield points. Be aware there will likely be positives, but maybe some negatives too.
Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or 4-7 FAB to get him.
Curtis Jones
Position: Midfielder
Team: Liverpool
Rostered: 1%
Next Fixture: NOT (A)
Prospects: Jones finally made his first appearance of the season in the mid-week win over West Ham. With the injury crisis hitting peak levels again at Liverpool, Jones may be asked to contribute from the start against bottom-of-the-table Forest. Although Liverpool midfielders traditionally don't score all that well, Forest is an excellent opportunity for anyone and everyone to get some attacking points, so I would start any of the Liverpool starters.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-2 FAB to get him.
Fabio Vieira
Position: Midfielder
Team: Arsenal
Rostered: 23%
Next Fixture: SOU (A)
Prospects: The new signing played well mid-week against PSV and could find himself starting 2 in a row as fixtures start piling up. Vieira offers great upside against a subpar Southampton defense, but he is unfortunately only a one-week punt, as Arsenal's best XI will not be disturbed unless there is an injury. Alternatively, Nketiah could feature. He did not play particularly well against PSV but did come off around the hour mark, perhaps with an eye to more playing time at the weekend.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-2 FAB to get him.
James Garner
Position: Midfielder
Team: Everton
Rostered: 1%
Next Fixture: CRY (H)
Prospects: Formerly high-flying Everton have looked like the Everton we expected at the start of the season for 2 weeks in a row now and a reshuffle is on the cards for attacking assets. Garner has...garnered praise from Lampard multiple times and has earned sub minutes since his summer transfer from Man United. A start for the central midfielder against Palace could be just what the doctor ordered to get the Everton attack clicking again.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-2 FAB to get him.
