Gameweek 11 Waiver Wire
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!
Trevoh Chalobah
Position: Defender
Team: Chelsea
Rostered: 29%
Next 3 Fixtures: AVL (A), BRF (A), MUN (H)
Prospects: It looks like Fofana is out until the World Cup and Potter played Chalobah in the game Fofana went off injured and after a few days of speculation, he started the youngster this weekend as well. After an assured performance against Wolves, Chalobah continues his impressive streak of helping Chelsea to a win in every one of his starts. Some rotation may happen due to the mid-week games, but Chalobah should keep his spot for the upcoming easier fixture run.
Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or 1-3 FAB to get him.
Kaoru Mitoma
Position: Midfielder
Team: Brighton
Rostered: 1%
Next 3 Fixtures: BRF (A), NOT (H), MCI (A)
Prospects: I had been excited about the Japanese midfielder since he signed as he looks like the most exciting player in the long line of seemingly random signings, but then we find out that they are great Brighton finds. He has been coming on earlier and earlier in games this season and his IRL and fantasy performances have earned him great reviews. It is only a matter of time before he gets his first start and you will want to roster and play him when he does.
Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or 1-3 FAB to get him.
Mikkel Damsgaard
Position: Midfielder
Team: Brentford
Rostered: 23%
Next 3 Fixtures: BHA (H), CHE (H), AVL (A)
Prospects: Some people might have dropped Damsgaard after the frustration of holding him during his bedding in period resulted in 1 start and a benching the next week. I would not give up this early and those who snap him up might get themselves the bargain of the season once he properly gets going. Once Brentford get out of their funk, the Dane will be a productive orchestrator of attacks from open play and set pieces as well.
Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or 3-5 FAB to get him.
Diego Costa
Position: Forward
Team: Wolves
Rostered: 38%
Next 3 Fixtures: NOT (H), CRY (A), LEI (H)
Prospects: Just like in our Fantrax HQ article, we are featuring a Wolves attacker here as well. And just like with Guedes, the low rostership percentage is damning and a good representation of how very bad their season has been. However special circumstances (facing Forest, potential new manager bump) has us recommending 3 Wolves, attackers, over the course of 2 GWs. We are not crazy. We know that that is the exact number of goals they have scored this season. Costa however should feast on the Forest defence to get everyone excited about the revival that will never really happen, in my opinion.
Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or 1-3 FAB to get him.
