Gameweek 10 Waiver Wire
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% ownership or below on Fantrax. These are the low ownership players who could perform very well over the upcoming period!
Joshua King
Position: Forward
Team: Watford
Rostered: 37%
Next 3 Fixtures: SOU (H), ars (A), MUN (H)
Prospects: King scored a hattrick in the incredible 5-2 win vs. Everton. This could be the spark King needed to come to life. He has always been a decent fantasy asset in his Bournemouth days, but now could push even further. Watford looked great in those last 20 minutes against Everton, and will be looking to carry that forward against a leaky Southampton team. King could offer FWD2 value if he manages to have a few more boom games like this.
Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or about 2-7% of my FAB on King.
Eric Dier
Position: Defender
Team: Tottenham
Rostered: 37%
Next 3 Fixtures: MUN (H), eve (A), LEE (H)
Prospects: Dier scored 9.75 points in the loss the West Ham, and would have been on for nearly 20 points if Spurs kept a clean sheet. Spurs have really struggled to keep clean sheets in recent weeks, but face some very inconsistent teams in the short term before their easy schedule longer term. Dier is someone worth punting on after the United game. He is still worth a pickup to hold this gameweek, and could offer DEF2 value over the next 6-8 weeks.
Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or about 2-5% of my FAB on Dier.
Miguel Almiron
Position: Midfielder
Team: Newcastle
Rostered: 24%
Next 3 Fixtures: CHE (H), bha (A), BRE (H)
Prospects: Almiron came off the bench and looked very lively in the draw vs. Crystal Palace. He managed 7 points off the bench, and could be in line for a start sooner rather than later. Almiron has failed to make any real impact in the EPL in his career, but under a new manager maybe could start to find his spark. Fraser offered nothing of value in his start, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Almiron get the nod. Chelsea is a tough fixture but two friendlier fixtures after that could see him offer MID4 value.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-2% of my FAB on Almiron.
Juraj Kucka
Position: Midfielder
Team: Watford
Rostered: 4%
Next 3 Fixtures: SOU (H), ars (A), MUN (H)
Prospects: Kucka managed 20.5 points with a goal in the win vs. Everton. Kucka looks to be improving under Ranieri, and could become a solid MID4 with some upside. Watford don't have the worst of schedules coming up against three teams that they could possibly beat and Kucka cold offer a solid floor during that time. With the midfield pool so shallow he is worth a pickup in deeper leagues.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-2% of my FAB on Kucka.
